THIRD TERM ENTERED UPON.

Tho Palmerston North Buys’ and Girls’ High Schools entered upon their third term yesterday afternoon, the former institution having a. roll number of 343, which shows a decrease of three on the roll number at the close of last term. The roll number at the Girls’ High School, so far as can be ascertained at this early stage, has been well maintained, the number standing at 236. No alteration in the personnel at the boys’ school lias been necessitated, but Miss M. McColl is acting as sports mistress at the girls’ school in lieu of Miss Benstead, who lias been granted extended leave by the Board of Governors.
