WOODVILLE.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) WOOOVILLE, Sept. 13.

One of a series of socials conducted by the Band Committee was held in tlie Foresters’ Hall on Tuesday evening. Tho euchre and piug pong tournaments and dancing drew a large attendance. Miss R. Murray and Mr A. Taylor won tlie ping pong tournament, while the euchre prizes went to Mr G. Lovell and Mr ,1. L Grey. Dancing continued until tho early hours, music being provided by Mr Sullivan’s panatropc. Miss G. Johnston has returned to Now Plymouth after a visit to her parents.
