CRUISER AUSTRALIA.

.VISIT TO PORT CHALMERS,

DUNEDIN, Sept. 12. The cruiser Australia made her first appearance in southern waters this morning, berthing at Port Chalmers at 9.30. She is the largest vessel to enter Otago Heads. The Mayors of Dunedin and Port Chalmers and the chairman of the Harbour Board paid an official visit.

Port Chalmers is decorated for the occasion.
