A BOY’S DEATH

FALL FROM TREE. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 10. Colin Innes, aged 11, whose parents live at Stanmore Road, Richmond, died in the Christchurch Public Hospital this morning as a result of a fall from a tree yesterday. Innes was flying a kite yesterday morning in Richmond Park when his kite became entangled in the branches of a tall tree. The boy climbed tho tree to a height of about 20 feet, but fell and injured his shoulder. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital yesterday afternoon and was not in a serious condition, but lie became seriously ill during the night and died later this morning. An inquest will be held tins evening and it is understood that tho coroner will order a postmortem examination.
