THIEVES IN A HOUSE

CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 6. Jewellery and clothing valued at £3OO was stolen front the home of Mr E. L. Mclveon, at St. Martin’s, last evening. The thieves engaged on a scheme of wholesale destruction, smashing vases and clocks and upsetting the contents of various rooms.
