NATIONAL ART GALLERY.
A NEW DIRECTOR. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Sept. 2. The Lords Commissioners of the Treasury have appointed Mr Kenneth Mackenzie Clark, Keeper of the Department of Fine Arts in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, to be Director of the National Art Gallery in succession to Sir Augustus Daniel, whose term of office expires at tlxe end of the year. The appointment is for five years.
