Sik hundred dancers attended the June dance of the Kia Toa Club, and in response to requests from numerous patrons the club is changing the venue of its annual dance to the more capacious De Luxe Hall. This function is to be held on Wednesday next, and judging by the interest being manifested by dancing enthusiasts the attendance at the dance should break all records. The function is also receiving the official patronage of the Manawatu Rugby Union for the purpose of presenting the 1933 trophies to the various winning clubs. Now is the time to take out your summer wardrobe and the surest way to be correct is to buy the Buttcrick quarterly. 1 nee is reduced to 9d a copy and there is a wealth of ideas within its authoritative pages. The patterns are still at old prices. Butterick’s have never advanced in price despite the exchange rate or deprecited currency. No pattern ie higher than 2s and most are Is 6d. Easy to make and better to wear. Collinson and Cunninghamc, Ltd.—Advfc.
