A shallow depression located yesterday over the south-west Tasman Sea deepened somewhat and passed eastward last night causing the weather to become more of the westerly type. Another anti-cyclone follows. Forecast: South-westerly to southerly winds, freshening somewhat, weather cool and changeable at first, with scattered showers, but becoming fine again later.
