DENTAL CLINIC.
MEETING OF COMMITTEE. The Palmerston North Dental Clinic Committee held its monthly meeting last evening, Colonel J. H. 'Whyte presiding. A resoluiton conveying thanks to Mr T. F. Belling for li'is donation of £2 2s to the committee’s funds was carried. Mr Relling remitted his charge for preparing the agreement to lease the Plunket Society rooms to the committee. The Department of Health notified that children of the age of four yearsand over, not attending school, could be treated at the dental clinics on tire same conditions as school children. This decision places the local children under school age on the same footing as city children of similar age. It was reported that the Rangiotu School Committco had decided to join I the clinic anrl its children would he examined on Wednesday, June 21. The i Sandon School Committee which lmd been given full details of the working of tire clinic, it was also reported, had not intimated whether it would link up. Linton School, making 18 in all. had joined The clinic. A resolution of thanks was accorded Mr P. S. Larcomb for again donating - his audit foe to the clinic’s funds. It was decided to issue a further circular to parents who have not had their children enrolled this year notifying that the roll would dose on July 10 when the opportunity to do so would lapse. It was also decided to ask the Convent School to be represented on the committee and to appoint a delegate. Colonel J. H. Whyte was re-elected chairman and Mr F. T. Vasey secretary. The meeting night was fixed as the first Thursday in the month.
