CHEESE AWARDS

NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW. COMMENT~BY JUDGES. “UNIFORMITY OF MAKE.” Cheese awards in the dairy produce section of the National Dairy Show are announced. Commenting upon the quality of the exhibits, the judges •state : “The uniformity of make and flavour is the outstanding feature of the exhibits. Although a few entries show a slight tendency to slit openness, mechanical openness is conspicuous by its absence. There are no strong flavours and at the time of judging there was no evidence of any discolouration having developed. “The quality generally was good throughout all the exhibits. The finish of a few cheeses still leaves room for improvement.” DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIP. Championship of Now Zealand under the auspices of N.Z. Dairy Factory Managers Association.
