COMPENSATION AWARDED.
TERMINATION OF SERVICES,
SYDNEY, June 12,
Mr Justice Davidson has awarded £7OOO compensation to Mr Augustus Scott, former chairman of the Metropolitan Meat Industry Board, arising out of the termination of his services by the present New South Wales Government. Mr Scott was the Lang Government appointee. Similar actions have been launched against the Government in respect to the dismissal of other persons who held important posts under the Lang Administration.
