MISTAKEN IDENTITY.
PLEA IN ASSAULT CASE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 9. At the Magistrate’s Court to-day, Walter Henry Tidy, aged 38, a seaman, pleaded guilty to a charge of assaulting Llewellyn Summered. In a statement to the police accused said he had mistaken Siiininerell for someone else who had called him a “scab.” A fine of £3 and costs was imposed.
