FOR LONDON.

PREMIER AND MR MASTERS. MR COATES TO REMAIN. (By Telegraph.—Special to Standard.) WELLINGTON, May 9. There are strong reasons for believing that New Zealand will be represented at the Economic Conference by a Ministerial delegation which must leave on Friday, on the Rangitata if it is to arrive in time for the opening. The Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, is certain to lead the delegation, and it is also clear that Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates will remain in New Zealand. As trade and economic questions of vital importance to New Zealand will arise at the Conference and in the subsequent discussions, Hon. R. Masters, Minister of Industries and Commerce, is reported to have been selected by Cabinet to accompany the Prime Minister.
