TERRORIST ROUND-UP.

ARRESTS IN MADRAS. CALCUTTA, May 5. More than 100 police were involved in a round-up of Bengali terrorists in a house in Madras yesterday. There was terrific excitement during the round-up, which lasted an hour. * As a result of the raid one Bengali was killed, three were captured and one escaped. The police forced an entry to the house, whereupon the suspects tried to escape over the roof. There followed a running fight with revolvers, during which one terrorist threw a bomb, injuring himself and a policeman ; the terrorist later died. Three jumped into the street and were captured after a thrilling pursuit. Another is .still at large. The police ascertained that the gang was closely identified with the Ootaeamund Bank robbery last week.
