ALLOCATION OF AMOUNTS.

WELLINGTON, Mav 5. The allocations in the Great Easter Art Union were announced by Hon. J. A. Young this evening, as follows: £IO,OOO for the relief of distress throughout the Dominion, £3OOO to the trustees of the National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum for the Peat collection of kauri gum and Maori curios, £350 to the Waikato Children’s Camp League, £SOO to the Wellington Children’s Camp Association, £IOO to the Christchurch Sunshine League Camp, £IOO to Mrs Marshall Macdonald’s Waikouaiti children's health camp, Dunedin, £3OO to Rev. Leslie B. Neale’s Company Bay children’s camp,. £ISOO to the Central Otago Gold Miners’ Prospecting Association, £SOO to the United Eire Brigades’ Association.
The £IO,OOO for the relief of distress is to be made available pro rata among centres showing unemployed resignations of 30 and over on March 18.
