MILSON.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) MILSON, May 6. The fortnightly card evening conducted by the Milson Progiessive Association was held in the hall last evening, the attendance being slightly better than at the previous one. Mr A. Franklyn had charge of the arrangements and proved a capable ML! Mrs S. Pepper won the ladr.s’ first prize, Mrs Caste! and Mrs ,Britton tieing for second. The former won the plav-off after a close game. Mr Robbie and Mr W. Dobson tied for the men s prizes, Mr Robbie proving the winner of the play-off. Consolation prizes were donated by Mrs Grigg and Mrs Bartlett. The former proved the victim of her own joke, and secured the ladies’ prize, (he rnen s going to Mr C. Fairburn.
