JAPANESE ADVANCE.

PATIENCE NOW EXHAUSTED. THE GREAT WALL ZONE. Received April 12, 9.10 a.m. KOBE, April 11. An official statement declares that Japan’s patience having been exhausted because the Chinese, mistaking restraint for weakness, still persist in attacking the Japanese positions, a general advance -south of the Great Wall has been launched. Owing to their vast superiority of arms, the Japanese advance is rapid. The Chinese are leaving their equipment and corpses, fleeing for safety, and, upless an agreement is reached as to a neutral zone, a halt will now be most difficult.
