WILLIAMSON'S REVUE COMPANY. “PLEASURE BOUND.” On Monday afternoon at 2.15 and night at 8 o'clock J. C. Williamson will at mu Opera House present Erank Neill's brilliant vaudeville revue company, numbering over 4(J artists, headed by Alias Ena Shields and Oeorge Wallace, in the very humorous and speefaeiuar revue, "I’leasure Bound,” which attracied large audiences lor three months in Sydney, and winch broke all known records during its 12 nights’ season at His .Majesty's Theatre, Auck.aud, where two performances daily had to he staged to cope with the demand lor scuts. A rit i.stic stage settings, featuring a bevy of beautiful show girls and charming ballet numbers, clever adagio and eccentric dnneeis, sparkling songs, and an abundance ol comedy skits aim scenes are some ot the features which have made “Pleasure Bound” an outstanding success wherever it has been staged. Oreat interest hue been invested here in the reappearance of .Miss Edit Shields, who proved in Auckland that she is quite as good an artist to-day as she was when she delighted the playgoers of New Zealand ten years ago. Air ueorge Wallace is really a whole entertainment in himself. He still wears baggy trousers, and in “Pleasure Bound” he is seen as a highly argumentative interloper, a most comically coiilkleiii in) “dame. ’ an advertising announcer, a despotic controller of theatre property, and an experimenter with flowers possessing powers. The act of the four during Diabolos is said to ho the most exciting over seen in New Zealand, and .Messrs .Murray and Walton are remarkably fine eccentric tap dancers. Miriam Lester, Maggie Buckley, Maiela Jones, Lily Molloy, Billy Malone. Maurice Barling and William Liddlc all proved successful in “Pleasure Bound,” and one of the big features of this revue is the brilliant work of .Maurice Diamond’s beauty ballet, and show girls. A full revue orchestra is under the direction of Wally Reynolds. Specially cheap rates will he charged for Monday’s matinee and children will he admitted at half rates. PICTURE THEATRES.
