REVIEW OF THE YEAR. Tho report which is to be presented to parishioners by tlio church wardens (Messrs O. Monrad and H. G. Bngnall) at the annual meeting of All’Saints’ Church reads:—The hank overdraft on No. 2 account (Boys’ Club account) shows a satisfactory reduction from £214 18s to £l6B 15s; and the Takaro committee from £3O to £2O. The advance to Longburn, £3O, remains the same. New vicarage fund : Apart from tlie activities of the members of the Ladies’ Guild, who have collected the very satisfactory amount of £67 during the year, it lias not been considered feasible under the present economic disability to ask for subscriptions. The position of the fund now is:—Ladies’ Guild, in hand, £ll7 9s 2d; amount held by vestry, £3O 7s 6d; promises, £350; total £497 16s Bd. Rev. C. E. Hyde and Rev. F. 0. Ball wore appointed to the staff, and their services have been very much appreciated. Although we congratulate Mr Hyde on a well-deserved appointment to a parish in AVaiapu, it is with tho greatest regret that we shall part company with him. The parish is much indebted to Messrs Harwood, Ashworth and the expert garcleners of tho Men’s Club for the really splendid condition of the church grounds. In conclusion, we congratulate the parishioners on their wonderfully loyal support during this unprecedented period through which we are passing.”
