‘‘Though my average earnings in Australia were £SO a week I did not save anything,” said the actress. Miss Dorothy Hunt, known on the stage as Diana Wilson, in the Bankruptcy Court (says a London message). ‘‘l suppose,” she added, ‘‘that I have been unjustifiably extravagant.” Miss Hunt explained that she thought that her earnings would continue. Her spending was largely on entertaining in order to obtain engagements. She had been an actress since 1919, but had not a long engagement since 1926. Counsel said that her early success was really a misfortune. It would have been better if she had had to struggle. Miss Hunt, who had been adjugded bankrupt, sought a discharge. The Registrar, agreeing with the remarks about extravngance, suspended her discharge for 18 months. Diana Wilson, born in England in 1897, lias appeared in many important parts. She first toured Australia in 1921, appearing in “Lightning” and again with Lawrence Grossmith in “Ambrose Applejohn’s Adventure.”,
