ST. JOHN AMBULANCE BRIGADE.
The St. John Ambulance Brigade (Palmerston North Division) held its quarterly meeting last evening, when Officer Lewis presided over a good attendance. Sergeant Andrews was re-elected delegate to the Free Ambulance committee. Two new members were elected and tire proposed syllabus and rules adopted. Secretary Poynter Was elected trustee. The division decided to notify the public that the Free Ambulance is a separate body, though the members of St. John do voluntary honorary duty. A Wellington message states that the appointment of Miss Helena A. Clinton" to be divisional secretary of the Palmerston North Technical School Nursing Division has been confirmed.
