PREPARATIONS IN TRAIN. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Feb. 8. Delegates from all parts of New Zealand assembled at Wellington to-day to consider 2>roposals for the formation ot a new party based on Liberal principles. Alruough no official report was issued, it is understood that among those present were Messrs J. B. Donald ( Auckland), A. J. Stallworthy, M.P., A. B. Sievright (Wellington), W. B. Taverner (Dunedin), J. jlvcit (Petone), Abbey Jones (Invercargill) and G. (J. Munns, formerly M.P. tor Roskill. The conference was attended by thirty .delegates.
