COALITION CAUCUS.
LEGISLATIVE PROPOSALS OUTLINED. TAXATION MEASURES SOON. Per Press Association. AVELLINGTON, Feb. 8. The Coalition Party met in caucus this morning, when members of the Cabinet outlined the remaining legislative proposals for the session. AATien asked whether there were any absentees from the caucus. Air borbes. the Prime Alinister. said, “Some of them might have been missing.” The Prime Alinister stated that the discussion had . been on general lines and a friendly feeling had prevailed. The chief topic had been the taxation proposals, which were at present in the hands of the law draftsman and which it was hoped to bring down tonight or to-morrow. Air Forbes said he was not able to stare how long it would take to pass the legislation set down for this session as it was impossible to judge what attitude would be taken by the Labour Party.
