LONDON WOOL SALES.
KEEN COMPETITION. NEW ZEALAND REALISATIONS. Received January 28, 11.15 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 27. At the wool sales 6630 bales were offered, including 2019 from New Zealand, and 4810 were sold. There was keen general competition and prices were fully firm, especially for the finer qualities. There were some withdrawals owing to the high limits. New Zealand realisations: —Greasy crossbred, Whangara, top price 10id, average B§d.
