ALLEGED MYSTERY VESSEL.

NO OFFICIAL INFORMATION. MELBOURNE. Jan. 26. The Minister of Defence, Sir George Pearce, states that he has received no official information regarding the mystery vessel and aeroplane reported to have been seen in Torres Strait. In normal times the Federal Government would have a patrol boat watching (the fishing grounds, but there was no money for such a purpose at present.
