BUTTER QUIET; CHEESE SLOAV. LATEST LONDON QUOTATIONS. Received December 23, 11.55 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 22. The butter market is quiet. Danish is quoted at 120 s per cwt. (1245); choicest salted New Zealand, 83s to 84s (81s to 82s); Australian, 83s_ to 84s (81s •to 82s). Unsalted: New Zealand, 90s to 94s (96s to 102 s); Australian, 88s to 90s (85s to 90s). Cheese is slow. New Zealand white, 52s (525), coloured 56s (545); Australian, 50s to 545. Last week’s prices are shown in parentheses.
