WELLINGTON PALMERSTON NORTH NEW PLYMOUTH. On 24th December and 3rd January, the train leaving Wellington 8.18 a.m., Palmerston North arr. 12.0 noon, runs through to Wanganui, leaving Palmerston North 12.15 p.m., arriving Wanganui 3.17 p.m. On same dates train for Wellington leaves Wanganui 12.40 p.m., Palmerston arr. 3.34 p.m., dep. 3.43, Wellington arr. 7.13 p.m. On 24th December Relief Express for Wanganui leaves Wellington 10.7 a.m., Palmerston North 1.30 p.m., arriving Wanganui 4.34 p.m. EXTRA NIGHT TRAINS—CHRISTMAS EVE. Night trains leave Palmerston North : FOR WANGANUI and NEW PLYMOUTH: At 3.36 a.m. (25th), arrive Wanganui 6.49 a.m., New Plymouth arr. 10.57 a.m. FOR NAPIER: At 3.45 a.m. (25th), arrive Napier 8.55 a.m. FOR WELLINGTON: At 3.5 a.m. (25th), arrive Wellington 7.0 a.m. For further particulars of express and night trains see free booklet obtainable at all railway stations. 23rd DECEMBER— A special train for Palmerston North leaves Wellington 4.47 p.m. 24th DECEMBER— A Relief Express Train for Wanganui leaves Wellington 10.7 a.m., Palmerston North 1.30 p.m., AVanganui arr. 4.34 p.m. A Special Train for Palmerston North leaves Wellington 2.20 p.m. A Relief Express Train for Auckland leaves Wellington 7.15 p.m., Palmerston North 10.21 p.m., Auckland arr. 11.21 a.m. (25th). 25th DECEMBER— Night Passenger Trains leave Palmerston North : For Wellington: 3.5 a.m. For AVanganui and New Plymouth: 3.36 a.m. For Napier: 3.45 a.m. Between Palmerston North and AVellington usual Sunday trains will run. 26th DECEMBER— Special Time-table: For particulars see handbills and booklet obtainable free at all stations. PALMERSTON NORTH RACES—26th, 27th and 29th DECEMBER. Return fare, Palmerston North to Racecourse, 2s any class, available for day of issue only. Trains for the Races leave Palmerston North each day 10.28, 11.12 a.m., also 10.50 a.m. 26th and 10.12 a.m. 27th and 29tli. Return trains leave Racecourse 5.15, 5.32, 5.44 p.m. each day. On 26th December usual 12.10 p.m. Palmerston North-AYanganui train will NOT run. Usual 6.20 a.m. AA ranganui-Palmers-ton North train will run to Marion only. Special Train leaves AVanganui 7.25 a.m., Marion 9.26, Feilding 10.12, Racecourse arr. 11.0 a.m. On 27tli and 29th December tisual 6.20 a.m. Wanganui-Palmerston North train will be delayed to leave Wanganui 6.35 a.m., and will run through to Racecourse, leaving Marion 8.34 a.m., Feilding 9.28 a.m. J._ Return train leaves Racecourse 5.15 p.m., Palmerston North 5.30 p.m. On above dates usual 6.32 p.m. Mar-ton-AA 7 anganui train will leave Marion 6.15 p.m. AVAIPUKURAU RACES—26th DECEMBER. On 26th December special cheap excursion tickets to AVaipukurau Racecourse, available for return on day of issue only, will be issued at Palmerston North and intermediate stations. Return fare from Palmerston North, including admission to racecourse, 15s 6d (Ist), 11s 2d (2nd). Train leaves Palmerston North 7.10 a.m. Return train leaves AA 7 aipukurau 6.30 p.m., Racecourse 6.32 p.m. For full particulars see free booklet and handbills, obtainable at all stations.
