INDIAN CONFERENCE.
DISCUSSION ON FINANCES. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Dec. 15. The committee on financial safeguards, appointed by the Indian Round Table Conference, held its first meeting to-day. After the opening discussion, the representatives of the British India and the Indian States on the committee visited the Bank of England and discussed with the Governor and other loading representatives of the City of London questions connected with the financial position and credit of India. The committee will resume its sittings to-morrow.
