EMULATING NEW ZEALAND. SYDNEY. Dec. 16. A competition inaugurated with the object of encouraging dairymen in New South Wales to strive for improvement in methods of growing pastures, and ensuring increased and more economical production, has just been closed. There were 120 entrants from all parts of the State. Tho winner is Mr A. F. Emmott, of Bodalla, South Coast, and the runnerup is Mr W. Hammond, of Bellingen, North Coast. The third prize went to Mr A. Martin, of Wagga. A feature of the competition was the efforts of competitors to emulate New Zealand pasture work.
