MRS. MOLLISON’S JOURNEY. CAPETOWN, Dec. 11. Mrs J. A. Mollison (Amy Johnson) arrived at Mossamedes at 3.45, some hours inside her scheduled time. She departed for Dua-la at 9 o’clock tonight. FOG ENCOUNTERED. LONDON, Dec. 12. A Benguella message states that after a brilliant first hop to Mossamedes, Mrs Mollison encountered fog at night and landed here. She was delayed for three hours and resumed at dawn. Mrs Mollison took off from Capetown on Sunday at 5 a.m. on her flight to Croydon, in an attempt to break the record for the trip. , CAPTAIN BERTRAM AT SOURABAYA. STOWAWAY FOUNT/ IN MACHINE. Received December 13, 9.30 a.m. SOURABAYA, Dec. 12. Captain Hans Bertram, who arrived here at 6.40 (local time) had a fine trip. He started from Bima at 2.30 in the afternoon. After leaving Bima, the mechanic, Mr Allen, detected a stowaway, who was immediately arrested on their arrival at Sourabaya. Captain Bertram stated that the flight had hitherto been hampered only by strong headwinds. He intends leaving at sunrise and hopes to reach Medan in one hop. Captain Bertram is flying from Australia to London.
