ATTEMPT AT SALVAGE.
LONDON, Dec. 7. What is believed to be the iinal attempt to raise the submarine M2 has failed, owing to the stern rising before the boms, thus preventing the air pressure from ejecting the water through the holes at the bottom of the after compartments.
