MEAT PRICES IN LONDON.
EFFECT OF SUDDEN REVIVAL. INDUSTRY PROFITABLE AGAIN. MELBOURNE, Dec. 8. Mr W. C. Anglis, a leading meat exporter, stated to-day that tue sudden revival of meat prices on the London market had enhanced Australian prices by more than £30,000,000. He added: “The meat industry is profitable once again. Meat works are busier than at any time since the war.”
