NEW ZEALAND PARTY.

Received December 8, 1.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 8.

The New Zealand Women’s Association held a successful Christmas party aboard tlio Aorangi, which was lent for the occasion by the Union Company. Several hundreds were present. The decorations included pohutukawa blooms and New Zealand scenery. Maori customs and music were kept prominently before the guests’ notice. Mrs J. W. Prentice presided. The official party included Mr Alfred Hill and Mrs Hill, Mr L. J. SclimTtt and Mrs Schmitt, Major Ross, representing the Union Company, and Mrs Horace Buck, who is returning to New Zealand after a world tour.
