VARIED FINANCE BILL INTRODUCED
LAST RUSH BEFORE ADJOURNMENT
A large programme of business was dealt with in the House of Representatives yesterday, when the rush to get through certain legislation before the adjournment was continued. A Finance Bill with many and varied provisions made its appearance as also did Supplementary Estimates covering a small amount, the discussion on which was not completed when the House rose at 1 o’ clock this morning.
