CYCLONIC STORM.
DAMAGE IN QUEENSLAND. HAILSTONES OF GREAT SIZE. Received December 6, 10.45 a.m. BRISBANE, Dec. 6. A cyclonic storm broke over Gayndali, causing extensive damage. The hail smashed the windows of nearly every business house and residence. The gale unroofed homes and also two churches and a school. The maize crops were flattened and the citrus orchards stripped. The hailstones weighed up to twenty ounces. Two horses were killed.
