APPRECIATION OF SERVICES.
ROTARY CLUB SECRETARY. Owing to ill-health and pressure of business, it was announced at the weekly luncheon of the Palmerston North Rotary Club to-day, Mr V. T. Dibble had found it necessary tq relinquish the office of secretary. It was stated that the directors of the club had passed a resolution accepting with deep regret the resignation of Mr Dibble, and placing on record his sterling services both to the club and Rotary, with his unfailing courtesy to all members. The hope was expressed that his health would soon be restored. The announcement was made that Mr G. G. Priest, a former member of the club, who Irad come in under a new classification, had been appointed to the position of secretary, and the club had been fortunate in securing his services. Mr Dibble thanked the memliers for the great assistance given him as secretary. and stated that he deeply regretted relinquishing the office, the occupancy of which lie had enjoyed, but he was confident his successor would do better than he had.
