DROWNING TRAGEDY.

Per Press Association. HAMILTON, Nov. 26. Athol Pooley, agedT, who went bathing with two companions after leaving school yesterday, was drowned in a pool near where the Wainui Greek joins the Raglan Harbour. The boy became separated from his companions who ran for assistance. A Maori working nearby swam out and recovered the body but artificial respiration was not successful. Deceased was the third son of Mr James Pooley, of Raglan.
