GOLDMINER’S DEATH.

Per Press Association. BLENHEIM, Nov. 26. A lone goldminer, Mr Ernest McKenzie, aged about 60, was found lying dead on the floor of his wliare on the west bank of the Wakamarina River, about a mile from Canvastown. Deceased had a small claim and was sinking a shaft. He lived alone in a rough wliare and was seen only at irregular intervals. The medical opinion is that death was due to natural causes.
