Mr F. C. Chichester, the noted airman, is a passenger on the Ruahine which will arrive at "Wellington from London on Friday next. Mr T. R. Hodder was, at the annual meeting of the teachers of the Cuba Street Methodist Sunday school last evening, elected to the position of superintendent for the 28th year in succession.
It is announced that Rev. Andrew Stevenson, who has had temporary charges of St. David’s Presbvterian Church. Woodville. since February, will retire from the ministry at the end of the month.
