Hammond (Hunterville), the president, being in the chair. Dealing with the general business of the meeting. Air J. G. Eiiott. referred to the rally of farmers, that was to be called to discuss the position of the primary producer. Air Eliott explained that the matter had been brought forward by the Feilding branch and it had been decided to hold the rallv in Feilding on Friday next. December 2. Air Eliott asked members of the executive to make the meeting known and to do their utmost to ensure a big muster of producers. It was proposed to have speakers discuss various aspects of the farmers' position and then pass resolutions. Early action was necessary for the reason that, whatever resolutions were carried, they must be presented to the House before it rose.

The meeting agreed with Mr Eliott’s proposal and decided to lend all possible assistance.

Other questions discussed at the meeting were reported in yesterday’s ••Standard," and elsewhere in this issue.
