COLYTON.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) COLYTON, Nov. 25.

Although the attendance was smaller than usual, owing no doubt to extra work on the farms at present, tho Colyton Tennis Club’s card party and danco held in the hall on Wednesday night proved most enjoyable. Progressive euchre occupied the first part of the evening, the prizes being won by Miss E. Hansen and Mr J. Humphries, and consolation prizes by Miss D. Walker and Mr L. Knox. After a dainty supper had been partaken of, dancing was indulged in. Two beautiful boxes of sweets were presented as trophies for competitions by Mrs H. E. Hocken and wore won by Messrs T. Wales and H. Woodman. A professional orchestra supplied the music, for dancing, and Mr N. Hocken acted as M.C.
