PRINCE IN LANCASHIRE.
CONDITIONS OF WORKERS INVESTIGATED. (British Official Wireless.) . RUGBY, Nov. 24. The Prince of Wales returned to London to-night after having spent two extremely busy days in visiting different institutions designed to ameliorate the lot of the unemployed in Lancashire industrial areas. During to-day he had a long conversation with eight men from a miners’ rescue station, who did galiant work during the recent colliery- disaster near Wigan questioning them at length about their experiences and about the work in mines generally. Before leaving Warrington for London to-day he visited St. Helens and opened in Widnes a club for unemployed erected by the men themselves. Wherever he went he had a most enthusiastic reception.
