WOMAN INJURED.
Injuries to her back and cuts on her face were received by Mrs A. Brown, of Wanganui East, yesterday, when the motor car she was driving skidded and somersaulted sideways three times on a slrarp bend near the top of Lethbridge’s Hill, a mile and a-half from Turakina. The car went .through a fence, coming to rest against a tree ten yards from the bottom of the hill. Two passengers, the driver’s mother, Mrs Wright, and Miss Wright, escaped with a shaking. Mrs Brown was admitted to the Wanganui Hospital, and her condition is satisfactory.
