LONDON WOOL SALES FIRM. PRICES FULLY MAINTAINED. BUTTER WEAK, CHEESE STEADY. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received November 25, 11 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 24. At the wool sales 9010 bales wore offered, including 2655 front Now Zealand, and about 6425 were sold. There was animated competition, with some Continental buying. Prices were fully maintained.
New Zealand greasy crossbred branded Strand sold at 9(d; slipe halfbred lamb, Canterbury', 12d (top price), average lOJd; scoured combing, Balmoral, 17id and 17d. The Bradford market is firm. Topmakers are insisting on fuil prices. The latest quotations compare with those previously cabled as follow: November
DAIRY PRODUCE QUOTATIONS. Received November 25. 11.50 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 24. The butter market is weak. Choicest salted New Zealand and Australian are both at 85. s to 86s (925, 89s). Unsalted New Zealand 96s to 100 s (106 s), Australian 88s to 90s (965). Danish 120 s (1225). Cheese is steady. New Zealand coloured 60s to 62s (61s).
