FUNERAL OF MR J. EASTON.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) FOXTON, Nov. 24. Business premises in Foxton closed their doors as a mark of respect to the memory of Mr Jack Easton when the funeral of the victim of tho farm shooting tragedy drew into Foxton on Thursday afternoon. A cortege of between thirty and forty cars followed the casket, which was covered with a large number of beautiful wreaths, to tho graveside. Services at tho homo, All Saints’ Church, and at the gravosido were conducted by Rev. G. A. Young. Tho pall-bearers were Messrs W. Trueman, Gcu. Coley, L. and Geo. King, E. Morgan and J. Death.
