JUDGMENT FOR DEFENDANT. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 24. In a reserved judgment the Magistrate, Mr E. Page, found in favour of Scott Gandy, Lid., the defendants in an action in which Lawrence S. Gandy, a salesman employed by tho firm from March, 1930, until February, 1932, claimed £l4o 13s 2d for arrears of salary and expenses, and £2OB damages for wrongful dismissal. In a crossaction in connection with a car which Gandy had failed to give back to the firm until a writ to recover it had been served, Mr Page awarded the firm £ls damages. Costs amounting to £4O 3s 2d were awarded against Lawrence Gandy.
