BILLS LAID ASIDE.

DISAPPROVAL OF CABINET. (By Telegraph.—Special to Standard.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 22. Cabinet's disapproval of fresh legislation involving registration requirements has found expression in the slaughter of four “innocents” which have been on tbe Ministerial stocks for some time. Following the decision to drop the Tomato Growers’ Registration Bill, Cabinet has ordered the execution of a measure having as its design the registration of stallions and another which sought to make similar provision with respect to marked calves. A similar fate has been suffered by a fourth prospective Act which proposed the registration of stock foods.
