TEACHERS’ SUPERANNUATION.
EVIDENCE BEFORE COMMITTEE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nqv. 23. Further protests on behalf of the teachers against the proposals in regard to the superannuation funds are being made to the Select Committee by the Secondary Schools’ Association and the Women Teachers’ Association. An appeal was made by the Wellington Harbour Board for the removal of the £3OO limit to the retiring allowance so far as the board’s own superannuation scheme is concerned.
