AEROPLANES ORDERED
THREE FOR AVIATION CLUBS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 22. Orders for four aeroplanes, three for aviation dubs and one for the Defence Department, have been placed by tlio Government. For the clubs they aro De Haviland Moths, of a typo similar to those already in use. The Air Force machine is to be a modern Fairey, and will be based at Hobsonvillo for use in naval co-opera-tion work. Tlio dub machines are for New Plymouth, Marlborough and Southland. . In making this announcement, Hon. J. G. Cohbe, Minister for Defence, expressed regret that the Government could not do more for the dubs, but its finances were very limited and it was doing its best under the circumstances.
