BOWLING
PLAY ON NORTHERN GREEN. In lieu of the visit from the Terrace End Club arranged ror last evening, three rinks from Takaro and two from Palmerston North visited the Northern Club to engage in friendly matches. Some very enjoyable games resulted, the outcome of the series being as follow, the Northern players being mentioned first: —Bryce, McMurrav, Stiles, Moxon (skip) 14 lost to Takaro: Farrar, Simpson, Jarrett, Smith (skip) 18; Dickel, Wills, Palmer, Tealo (skip) 11 lost to Takaro: McEwen, Christiansen, Tanner, Morgan (skip) 14; Newton, “Wood, Wort, Sharman (skip) 7 lost to Takaro: Dalziel, Budden, E. Smith, Cooksley (skip) 19; G. Mills, Stableford, Rabone, Brvan (skip) 29 beat Palmerston North : Wilkinson, Law, Schwass, Wilson (skip) 10; Valentine, Thirtle, Laiconib, Stuart (skip) 12 lost to Palmerston North: Coleman, Mitchell, Schioler, Skoglund (skip) 21.
